Former host families, who volunteer to find and encourage other families to experience the program and to open their homes and hearts to the Guatemalan participants. Careful matching of family and student is what makes mutual growth and understanding possible. They are in charge of:

• Interviewing and preparing Guatemalan students.
• Profiling and supporting host families.
• Individual visits with Guatemalan coordinators to the host families after the students have arrived, to assure their well being and adaptation to their new environment.
• Constant supervision and guide for host families.
• Responsible of maintaining a good relationship with participating schools.
• Chaperon groups to or from Guatemala.
